· New Two-Volume Set of Learn and Compete is Now Available
This is an excellent resource for FH+E, FSAE, and Formula Student teams!
Ten years ago in 2012, Michael and Suzanne Royce, with editor William Kimberley and fourteen contributing friends, published the first edition of “Learn and Compete, A Primer for Formula SAE, Formula Student and Formula Hybrid Teams”. About 4 or 5 years ago, no more copies were available and finding even a used copy was extremely difficult.
The SAE Bookstore (SAE Mobilus) has now re-stocked and is taking orders at: https://www.sae.org/publications/books/content/b-990/

The updated version of the 2023_2024 ESF-1 form has been posted on the website. The link to the document is here.
Please use this form starting today.
If your team has already uploaded an ESF-1 using last year's form, you do not need to upload a new one.
The updated car numbers for the 2024 competition may be found here.
The Formula Hybrid + Electric car numbers are assigned by finishing order in 2023 for teams that competed last year and, for new teams, by the order in which the team registered for the 2024 competition. This numbering process does not line up with the numbers automatically assigned on registration.
Starting today, use the updated car numbers when submitting documents. If your team has already submitted a document using the automatically assigned number, you do not have to resubmit the document.
